The Optional Electric Strike Release
|
An electric strike requires major modification to the
door jamb. Electric strike releases are involved and time consuming to
retro-fit on existing doors. They usually work best on new construction or
when a new door is being installed. Depending on the installation and
the type of electric strike installed, the security of the door may not be as
strong as the original equipment. To avoid the need of a strike release, use
the
Private-Door Release, which eliminates the installation
of a electric strike release.

 A 12-volt DC strike release is required with a Private-Door Duo and
Executive. Tri-Cor does provide quality strike releases. |
 To
avoid the installation of an electric strike release select a Private-Door
Assistant or a System. |
