Private-Door was first conceived as a novelty for the business
executive, but the response to the Private-Door Special was primarily from the
disabled community. Tri-Cor enhanced the Private-Door features to
accommodate the needs of this community, the result was the
Private-Door Solo. A limited number of Private-Door Specials are still
available at a special price of $199.00. The Private-Door Special cannot be
expanded to fully automate a door.

barriers that doors cause. With remote control convenience, you can
open and close your door to the
ajar position.** This provides
privacy for all but the most sensitive of situations. The Private-Door
Special is the most affordable way to automate your doors.
The Private-Door Special is designed to automate home office, bedroom or
bathroom doors.
Private-Door Features:
90 Day Warranty.
Optional Remote Control available.
12-Volt Wiring eliminates expensive electrical wiring.
"Minimum Force" opens and closes the door with minimal
torque.
"Free-Float System" permits the normal manual operation of the door.
Components mount to the edge of the door, avoiding the necessity for holes in the surface of
the door.
Components virtually disappear when painted or stained.
Easy to install with simple hand tools.
Retro-fits virtually any existing door up to 36 inches and 75 pounds.
The Special will not open doors that are completely sealed and is not
intended for the installation on entrance doors.
The Private-Door Special will cycle the door for as long as the control is activated.

Special Works
**The Ajar Position
The Ajar Position is where the door latch is touching the strike plate. The
door must be in the ajar position or the Solo will not open the door. The
Solo will not completely seal the door.
